THE LIONS FINISH AT HOME
The Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions returned home Thursday, to play the undefeated Central Oklahoma Lady Bronchos, to continue conference play. The Lions played strong, but were overtaken by UCO in three games (30-9,30-18 and 30-28). The ladies are now 9-19 overall and 1-8 in division play, as they prepare to play their last match of the season at home against Cameron University on Saturday Nov. 5, Senior Day.

COMPETING AGAINST THE AGGIES
A&M-Commerce last met up with the Aggies, Oct. 6, in Lawton, where they fell in three games. The loss came after the Lions first and only conference win of the season to Midwestern State.

The Lions will bring two time Lone Star Conference player of the week Colleen Favaro to the match. In her performance against the Aggies, Favaro had 7 kills and 2 blocks for the match. Setter Alicia Capparelli also posted great success against Cameron, with 15 assists in their last contest.

This will the fourth season closing match between the Aggies and A&M-Commerce school history. The last time the Lions faced the Aggies to end their season was in 1993 where they beat Cameron 3-0. The Lions are currently 12-14 in season closing games.

THE AGGIES IN ACTION
The ladies of Cameron currently stand at 15-13 overall and 5-6 in Lone Star Conference North Division play, after a win Thursday against Southeastern Oklahoma State, 3-5 (26-30, 30-28, 23-30, 30-25, 15-7). The Aggies were fighting to be in contention of LSC postseason play, but were knocked out by a Midwestern State victory.

The Cameron Aggies to watch during this match will be outside hitter Ashley Rikard who tallied four straight kills against SOSU. In the last Aggie/Lion match-up, the Aggies held the edge in attack percentages with a 34.4, while the Lions had nine more kills on a 10.5 percentage.
