For the second-straight week, Texas A&M University-Commerce sophomore volleyball player Lauren Flynn was named the Lone Star Conference Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Flynn shares the weekly honor with Lacie Allen of Central Oklahoma.

Last week, in the two matches, she averaged 7.14 digs per game in the two contests against Texas Woman's and Harding University. She collected 50 digs, including 26 against Texas Woman's and added 24 against Harding.

For the season, the Deer Park, Texas native is averaging 5.77 digs per contest and currently ranks second in the Lone Star Conference.

Next, A&M-Commerce will host its final two matches of the regular season when they take on Southwestern Oklahoma on Thursday at 7 pm and Central Oklahoma on Saturday at 2 pm.
