VOLLEYBALL PREVIEW: SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA

The Texas A&M University-Commerce Lions returned home Tuesday to face the Southeast Oklahoma Lady Savages. The Lady Savages were meeting the Lions in conference play for the second time this season, and came up on top of with a 3-1 victory.

The Lions come into this Thursday's series after two hard fought series to cause the Lions to fall short to the Lady Savages, after an impressive showing at the Lone Star Conference Crossover Tournament, last weekend, where they won three games in a row in Denton.

The Lions (9-14,1-4 LSC North) were in Tuesday's action by junior transfer and middle blocker Jane Latu, who has 23 kills and 14 digs for the game and 18 kills against the Lady Indians in there last meeting.

Other Lions to look after in this series are sophomore middle blocker, two time player of the week Collen Favaro, who hit a high season-high of 34 kills against the Lady Indians. In the last meeting against MSU junior transfer setter Alicia Cappareilli had a career high 47 assist for the game.
