Seniors Colleen Favaro and Wannie Neal Named to All-Tournament Team at HSU Labor Day Classic

Seniors Colleen Favaro and Wannie Neal were recently named to the HSU Labor Day Classic All-Tournament Team. For the weekend, Favaro had 34 kills and 11 total blocks and Neal had 21 kills in the two matches. Favaro has led the Lions in kills in five matches, including a season-high 23 against Paul Quinn on Tuesday night. The all-tournament honor for the San Antonio native is the third of her career. It is the second all-tournament honor in 2007 for Neal, who also earned recognition at the season-opening Texoma Challenge. The Lions will next travel to play four matches in two days in the Abilene Christian Tournament, starting on Friday against Pittsburg State at 3 pm. On the weekend, A&M-Commerce will face Incarnate Word (Friday at 7 pm), Texas Permian-Basin (Saturday at 3 pm) and Fort Hays State (Saturday at 7 pm).
