Volleyball struggles at Southeastern
April 13, 2006 DURANT, Okla. - A productive A&M-Commerce spring volleyball schedule finished on a sour note Thursday night with a 3-1 loss at Southeastern Oklahoma State. Southeastern took the first two games, 30-18 and 30-19, respectively. Tasha Spain and Jackie Orr led the Lions from the service line with a 7-2 run in the third game, staving off a match point with a two kills by Brittany Williams. A Spain kill gave the Lions a 34-32 win. Southeastern controlled the final game with a 30-16 win. Head coach Gwen Weatherford praised the Lions for their up-tempo Game 3 win. "The girls passed much better, and we were able to make quick sets and connect with our middles." +++A&M-C+++
