COMMERCE, Texas - Preparations for the 2006 A&M-Commerce women's volleyball season begin in earnest with the scheduling of three exhibition dates in April, head coach Gwen Weatherford announced Thursday.

A&M-Commerce, host of the Lions Spring Challenge on April 1, will play North Central Texas College at 9 a.m. in the Field House. In the afternoon matches, the Lions face Southeastern Oklahoma State at 12:30 and finally Tyler Junior College at 4:00.

On April 8, the Lions travel to Texas Woman's in Denton for exhibition matches against San Jacinto Junior College, UT-Dallas, and TWU.

The Lions conclude their spring schedule at Southeastern in Durant, Okla., on April 13.
