Volleyball Loses to Harding

In its final non-conference match for the season, the Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball team lost to Harding, 30-23, 30-15, 27-30, 30-16 on Saturday.

In the loss, three Lions posted double-digit kills as senior Colleen Favaro led the attack with a team-high 15. Freshman Terra Ousley had 12 kills and seven blocks in the loss.

Harding got a match-high 24 kills from Shellie Rummer and teammates Manuela Neshea and Katelin Parks posted double-double performances. Neshea had 18 kills and 10 digs and Parks added 13 kills and 10 digs in the win.

With the loss, A&M-Commerce falls to 9-17 on the season. Harding improved its record to 22-9 with the win as they hit .280 and recorded 12 service aces in the win.

The Lions will return home for its next two matches, starting on Thursday at 7 pm against Southwestern Oklahoma at the A&M-Commerce Field House.
