The Texas A&M University-Commerce posted a straight-set, 30-26, 30-26, 30-15 victory over University of Texas-Permian Basin on Saturday afternoon in its first of two matches in the final day of the ACU Volleyball Classic.

The Lions (3-6) were led by the third-straight double-double performance of senior Colleen Favaro. The San Antonio native had a team-high 19 kills to go along with 11 digs to lead the A&M-Commerce attack.

Junior Brittany Williams also had a double-double in the win, recording 43 assists and 17 digs for her first double double of the season.

It was a solid all-around effort for the Lions who also had eight blocks and seven service aces in the victory. Texas-Permian Basin was held to a .078 hitting percentage in the loss.
