VB LIONS FINISH EVEN IN ARIZONA
Sept. 3, 2005 PHOENIX, Ariz. - The Texas A&M University-Commerce volleyball Lions completed their final day in Arizona with a strong 3-0 win over Fort Lewis (Colo.) to finish 2-2 after four matches at the of the Grand Canyon Cactus Classic. In the early match, Grand Canyon (Ariz.) took the Lions in four games (19-30, 30-27, 30-19, and 30-23). The Lions turned around to sweep the Fort Lewis Skyhawks with scores of 30-25, 30-27, and 30-17. The Lions (4-4) make their home opener with a 7 p.m. match against Henderson State on Sept. 6. +++A&M-C+++
