Jack Duffie will return for his second season on the Texas A&M-Commerce volleyball coaching staff as a student assistant. As a student assistant, Duffie is actively involved in practice sessions and home match management for the Lions.

He worked with the Lions' men's basketball program in 2004-05 prior to joining the volleyball program last fall. He currently is pursuing a pair of undergraduate degrees with a double major in mathematics and kinesiology.

Originally from Dallas, he worked as a student assistant from 2002-05 at Navarro Junior College, while also working at W.W. Samuel High School from 2000-02. He is a 2000 graduate of W.W. Samuel High School, where he was a three-sport athlete participating in basketball, soccer and track.

He was born on November 6, 1981 and is the son of Neture Duffie of Dallas.
