Texas A&M University-Commerce senior Tamara Geels was named to the All-Lone Star Conference First Team for the second-straight year as the All-LSC women's soccer teams that were announced Thursday evening during a reception at the LSC Championship.
 
 
Tamara Geels Named First Team All-Lone Star Conference

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior Tamara Geels was named to the All-Lone Star Conference First Team for the second-straight year as the All-LSC women's soccer teams that were announced Thursday evening during a reception at the LSC Championship.

Teammates sophomore forward Meagan Lasley and junior midfielder Melissa DoRemus were named to the second team and senior forward Bailey Geels was named honorable mention. For Lasley, it is her first post-season honor and DoRemus it is her third conference honor. For Bailey Geels, it is her second post-season honor.

Regular season champion Central Oklahoma had 11 players recognized on the all-conference teams. The Bronchos had six first-team selections, three second-team choices and two honorable mention players make the list. UCO also received three individual awards, with Co-Offensive Player of the Year Carmen Davis, Defensive Player of the Year Carly Fischer and Coach of the Year Mike Cook.
