In conjunction with the Kids & College program, Texas A&M University-Commerce women's basketball player Britney Jordan and football and track and field member Leonard Jackson visited with 8th graders to motivate them towards the right choices as they prepare to attend high school. Both Jordan and Jackson encouraged the students to properly manage their time in their schedules. In addition, both student-athletes talked about what has been necessary for them to get into as well as to succeed in college as student-athletes.
