Student-athletes Rachel Redding and Adrain Turner visited with students from Celeste, Ector and North Lamar on Thursday morning about their responsibilities as student-athletes in conjunction with Kids and College at Texas A&M University-Commerce.

In addition to explaining to the students about what a typical day is like, Redding and Turner also answered questions about A&M-Commerce athletics. Redding, a senior on the track and field team from Garland, talked to the students about how she balances her job and what she did in high school to prepare for college. Turner, a junior on the football team from Terrell, talked about how he worked with his high school guidance counselor to make sure he did the right things to get into college.
