Since the last snap of the final game of 2007, the Texas A&M University-Commerce football team has been eagerly awaiting today - the start of spring practice for the 2008 season.

A&M-Commerce is coming off a 2007 season that saw the Lions win their first-ever Lone Star Conference North Division title; however, there still remained an empty feeling among the returnees for the 2008 season. "We had a chance to win the LSC North title outright and we did not get it done," is a feeling among many of the players.

The Lions will have 14 more practices at Memorial Stadium after a rigorous 90-minute session to get things underway on Thursday. Dates and times are subject to change and available by contacting the sports information office at Texas A&M University-Commerce.
