2005: Played in eight games along the offensive line for the Lions, where he saw action at right guard...member of an offensive line that allowed Lions runners to rush for 2,211 yards - the most since the 1983 squad scampered for 2,269...offensive line allowed only 10 sacks over the course of the season.

Prior to A&M-Commerce: A first team All-State selection at Gilmer High School, where he set the school record with 70 pancake blocks...earned all-district recognition three times and all-East Texas twice...in addition to earning three letters in football, he lettered twice in powerlifting.
