2005: Saw action in all 10 games at the defensive end position, making 24 tackles...seventh on the team with three and a half tackles for loss for minus seven yards...ran back a fumble 85 yards for a touchdown against Southwestern Oklahoma (Nov. 5) that put the Lions up 24-0...also recovered fumbles against Tarleton State (Sept. 3) and Central Oklahoma (Sept. 24)...assisted on a season-high five tackles against East Central (Oct. 1) and had four tackles against Southern Arkansas (Aug. 27) and Southeastern Oklahoma (Oct. 15)...against the Savages, he had two tackles for minus three yards...credited with a pass break up against Northeastern State (Oct. 22).
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Played two seasons at Mt. San Antonio College and was redshirted as a freshman at USC...named high school All-American and earned all-CIF honors in high school. Personal: Son of Melvin and Toni Jackson and son of step mother Kimberle Jackson...father, Melvin, was on USC's 1974 national championship team and also played for the NFL's Green Bay Packers. |
