2007: Saw action in first four games of the season before an injury ended his season.
Prior to A&M-Commerce: Hauled in 10 receptions for 126 yards and a touchdown, where he split time as a wide receiver and tight end at Joliet Junior College as a sophomore...his 10 receptions were the fifth most on the team...scored on a 25-yard reception in the Graphics Edge Bowl game against Iowa Central (Nov. 19, 2006)...they ended the season ranked No. 19 in the final poll with a 7-4 record...one of nine sophomores from Joliet JC, who are continuing their college football careers...as a freshman, he had 16 catches for 145 yards and two touchdowns...the 16 catches were the third highest on the squad and 145 yards were the fourth highest. Redshirted in 2004 as a freshman at the University of Auburn. Alexander was a two-sport letterwinner in both football and in basketball at Bloom Township High School. Personal: Born August 21, 1986...son of Chris and Felicia Alexander...brother, Phil played football at the University of Toledo from 2001-2004 and father played football at Idaho State University and went on to play in the CFL...a business major. |
