Scooby Johnson Named Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week

Texas A&M University-Commerce senior Scooby Johnson was recently named the Lone Star Conference North Division Player of the Week.
Recently, he had 18 points and nine rebounds against Alabama-Huntsville and followed that up with 31 points and 11 rebounds against St. Edward's en route to all-tournament team honors at the St. Edward's Holiday Tournament, last weekend. The Buffalo, Texas native leads the Lions in scoring (19.8) and in rebounding (7.8). Johnson and the Lions return to action Saturday afternoon against Texas A&M-Kingsville on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. The game will be broadcast locally on KETR-FM (88.9) and on the LIONS website (lionathletics.com).
