LIONS FALL TO SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA 79-54

DURANT,Okla. - A&M-Commerce continued North Division play on the road as they traveled to Durant, Okla., dropping to 11-8, 1-3 for the season in a 79-54 loss to Southeastern Oklahoma.

The Savages led the entire contest, halting the Lions to shoot just 30 percent from field goal, which gave A&M-C their lowest output of the season of 54 points.

A&M-Commerce started the game on a 3-0 run, before the Savages started their scoring streak, taking the lead away from the Lions just four minutes into the game. With 16:33 on the clock, SOSU's Stephen Harrel rebounded the ball off a missed jumper from Nick Goellner to put the Savages up 6-5.

From then on, Southeastern took command, never allowing the Lions to back. The Lions ended the night 21-of-68 from the field and 5-for-9 behind the charity stripe.

Forwards Chris Fantroy and Jason Rabb led the Lions scoring 13 points a piece. Rabb posted his second double-double of the season recording 11 boards with the 13 points scored. Lamar Searight also ended the night in double figures. The Pontiac, Mich., native brought in 11 points, scoring his 13th double digit game out of the 19 played.

LSC's leading scorer Eric Babers led the way for the Savages recording a double-double with 18 points and 12 boards. Matthew White also scoring a double-double for the night with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
