Commerce, Texas - The Texas A&M University-Commerce men's and women's cross country teams come off a weeklong break Oct. 1 to compete in the Oklahoma State Jamboree at Stillwater, Okla.

For head coach Ponder, this meet promises to be good competition for the women and regionally ranked men, who remain 10th in the South Central for the second consecutive week. The OSU Jamboree is the largest meet the Lions will compete in this season, featuring both Division I and II schools.

"This is a challenging course," Ponder said. "It's a true cross country course in every sense of the word.

"The team ran well at the Missouri Southern meet. ... This weeks' meet will give the team should show just how good this team really is," he said.
