Waco, Texas - A&M-Commerce cross country traveled to Waco, TX, and participated in the annual Bear Relays last Friday. The team competed against a mixture of Division I and Division II universities, including host Baylor, TCU, UTA and Lone Star Conference school Tarleton State.

Tiara Medlock and Niki Williams placed 26th out of 31 spots for the women. Both runners clocked in at a time of 34:13.5. Coming two places behind them at 28 were their teammates Andra Vickel and Courtney Fernandes with a time of 36:23.7.

For the men, Caleb Reynolds and Chase Snowden placed in the top 15 of the group out of 24 runners. The duo came in with a time of 40:56.9. The runners came in between TCU and UTA runners.

Both teams will continue their season Saturday, heading one hour south to compete at the Movin Mavs CX Challenge at UTA. The meet is scheduled to start at 8:30 a.m.
