Leslie White Earns All-Lone Star Conference Recognition

With his victory in the high jump, junior Leslie White was named to the All-Lone Star Conference Team as league officials announced on Friday.
White cleared a personal best and qualified provisionally for the upcoming NCAA Championships with a clearance of 6-8 ¾ in the high jump. The clearance is tied for the 21st-best mark in the nation. The list of all-conference performers includes the winner of each event at the conference meet, including all members of the winning relay teams, plus any athlete who scores at least 14 points at the meet. At the meet, he also finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 182-1.
